Billerica, MA (October 22, 2021). PureHoney Technologies (PHT) has moved to a new 20,000 SF headquarters and research facility located at 3 Federal St., Suite 300, Billerica, MA 01821. The facility has been custom-designed to maximize the efficiency of existing operations while providing for future growth. The instrumentation labs include the necessary infrastructure to operate up to 40 mass spectrometers in addition to dedicated sample preparation and BL2 labs.

Together with conventional U/HPLC-MS and ICP-MS services PureHoney Tech also offers high-throughput functional/biochemical assay development and screening using RapidFire-MS and a non-covalent binding assay using affinity-selection mass spectrometry (ASMS). Most recently the company launched a covalent protein binding assay service that enables the high-throughput screening of electrophilic libraries to identify and characterize irreversible binders of protein targets.

“Our new facility enables for streamlined operations and has been designed to match our workflows from the receipt and logging of client samples through sample prep, mass spectrometric data acquisition, and the creation of final data reports,” said Wendy Picariello, Vice President of Operations. “The facility also incorporates redundant gas generation systems, backup power generators, and automated on-site and off-site data backup and storage to minimize the effects of possible disruptions.”
