PlasmaScout™ is a workflow that enables proteomic analysis of clinical plasma and serum samples by LC-MS/MS. Our team follows well-established best practices for sample preparation and analysis to ensure that plasma profiling samples are analyzed comprehensively and with scientific rigor, and we maintain laboratory facilities up to BSL-2. In addition to analyzing crude samples, we also offer an optional automated depletion strategy to efficiently and reproducibly reduce the most abundant proteins in serum or plasma samples, increasing sensitivity for low-abundance targets.

PlasmaScout™ typically quantifies 1500-3000 distinct plasma proteins per sample using DIA-MS. We employ proprietary computational pipelines and plasma proteome-specific quality control mechanisms (e.g., quantification of potentially confounding proteins from platelets and blood cells) to ensure superior data quality and consistency throughout the analysis process.
